Kev believes in the transformative power of creativity, and particularly enjoys sharing the creative process with his students. Examples of such collaborations with young people (which span a variety of genres, from contemparary classical to Acadian folk to Persian metal and everything in between), can be heard below:

At the studio I built and directed at the Boys and Girls Club of Lasalle, I worked with students to record original music, creative covers, podcasts, and short films. Here's tune co-wrote and produced for an amazing teen, Nima, recently immigrated to Canada. This epic metal song, which we worked for six months, is the product or a shared a love of the band Tool and the Sufi poet Rumi, and features lyrics in English, French, and Persian. A banger.
